CBT-based skills for attention, regulation, and growth.
Cognitive Therapy
Strengthening thinking. Building resilience.
What it is
Cognitive therapy at JOY addresses thinking patterns, problem-solving skills, attention, memory, and emotional regulation. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and related approaches, our sessions help children and young adults develop healthier thought patterns and coping strategies.
Who benefits
Children and adolescents with anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, learning difficulties, ADHD, school-related stress, and adjustment problems.
What to expect
Sessions are age-appropriate, engaging, and non-threatening. The therapist works collaboratively with the child to identify thoughts and feelings, explore alternative perspectives, and practise coping skills. Parents are guided on how to reinforce learning between sessions.
Up next

Sensory integration, motor skills, and daily living.
