Conditions we support

Wherever your child is on their journey, we meet them there.

At JOY, we work with children and individuals across a wide range of developmental, neurological, behavioural and learning conditions. Our multidisciplinary team ensures that each person receives the right combination of therapies and support.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition characterised by differences in communication, social interaction, sensory processing, and behaviour. At JOY, we offer ABA-based behavioural therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, special education, and counseling for children with ASD and their families.

ADHD

ADHD affects attention, impulse control, and activity levels. It often impacts school performance and social relationships. We provide behavioural therapy, cognitive therapy, parent training, and school support for children with ADHD.

Intellectual Disability

Intellectual disability involves significant limitations in intellectual functioning and adaptive behaviour. Our team offers special education, behavioural support, life skills training, and family guidance tailored to each child's level of functioning.

Developmental Delay

Some children reach developmental milestones later than expected across areas like speech, motor skills, cognition, or social development. Early intervention through speech therapy, OT, physiotherapy, and special education can make a significant difference.

Learning Difficulties

Children with specific learning difficulties (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia) often have average or above-average intelligence but struggle with reading, writing, or maths. We offer psychoeducational assessment, special education, and school coordination support.

Speech & Language Disorders

Delays or disorders in speech sounds, language comprehension, expressive language, fluency, or voice can affect communication and confidence. Our speech-language pathologists design targeted programmes for each child.

Cerebral Palsy & Motor Disorders

Children with cerebral palsy or other motor disorders benefit from physiotherapy, OT, and speech therapy delivered in an integrated manner. We focus on maximising independence and quality of life.

School Difficulties & Adjustment

Some children struggle to cope with the academic, social, or emotional demands of school. We offer assessment, counseling, cognitive therapy, and school liaison support.

Neurological Conditions (Adults)

Adults recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, or other neurological conditions can access physiotherapy, rehabilitation psychology, and counseling at JOY.
